Katherine Dahlsgaard, PhD
Dr. Katherine Dahlsgaard is the 2024 award winner for Distinguished Contributions to the Science and Profession of Psychology by the Pennsylvania Psychological Association. She is a licensed psychologist and Board Certified in Behavioral and Cognitive Psychology with expertise in CBT for children, adolescents, and adults.
Dr. Dahlsgaard was formerly Clinical Director of The Anxiety Behaviors Clinic and The Picky Eaters Clinic and Co-Director of The Food Allergy Bravery Clinic at Children's Hospital of Philadelphia. She began her career as a research assistant to Aaron T. Beck, the “father of CBT,” and published multiple research articles with him on suicide prevention. She is currently in private practice, sees patients via telehealth from 43 states, and continues to publish in peer reviewed journals and present at national academic conferences.
